Medieval Times, Dallas Texas
So, uhhh, have you ever looked from a far at a dinner option and thought to yourself, “I’m never going there.” …and then years later for some odd reason you find yourself entering the place you thought you’d never go?
Yeah well we did that.
Where did we end up eating? Medieval Times
The Utah Cribs Team was in Dallas for the once a year national Berkshire Hathaway convention and if true be told we were there to receive a bunch of awards; top 100 teams in the network, top 1% of Realtors nationally, # 1 legend award in Utah for 5 years rolling sales and on and on blah blah blah. You know agents and their awards? A little cheesy and we were awarded out. Thus we decided to AWARD OURSELVES in a funny way by eating at Medieval Times in downtown Dallas.
Look, if you want to have a good time without having high expectations, and your with a fun group (perhaps all drinkers or at least a few) than you can truly enjoy Medieval Times. Our team was the green team and although our live, horse riding jouster did not win the sword fight, the jousting bout or the final fake smoke filled combat battle, we still cheered, LOUDLY for him. During this two hour live show we did drink from goblets, eat bone in chicken with our bare hands and wore paper crown hats. And yeah, honestly the food was ok.
Bottom line if you are in a funny mood and with a great group, when in Rome; eat at Medieval Times. And yes, they do joust with real live horses and real wood jousters that brake on impact; although we were quite sure they “pre”- brake the jousting sticks.
