Here is a graph showing all of Salt Lake Single Family homes on a quarterly basis: How many homes listed (in green), how
many SOLD per Q (in red) and how AVERAGE sold price (in blue). Interesting to note that Peak was 3rd Q of 2007 where
AVG price in SLC for a home was $256K. 1st Q 2011 market the bottom @ $200K EVEN. I can’t wait to see in 2 weeks what
2nd Q 2011 brings………will we UPTICK a bit MARKING the bottom of the market as 1st Q 2011 OR will all you pessimists
be RIGHT and will the market continue DOWN in pricing.
Being a market expert and watching every day I will make MY
prediction: Jake Breen says we will see a VERY slight uptick (Around 1%).
